Are you tired of having a belly so big that it looks like you're pregnant? Even though I am a guy I still had people joke about my big belly. At first it was funny but it quickly became embarrassing to me. I was willing to do anything to lose weight and get in shape but I didn't know where to start. Eventually I found out what I needed to do and I'd like to share 4 tips that might just help you out too.

Tip #1-

The first thing you need to do is get motivated. The easiest thing you can do to get motivate yourself is to find a partner to join you in your journey. Getting in shape and eating healthy is one of the most difficult things you can do. If you have someone else to keep you accountable you'll be a lot more likely to stay on course. More than likely it will be a friend that joins you. This way you can motivate each other to keep going even when things get tough.

Tip #2-

The next thing you need to remember is that you just need to get started today. Most people waste so much time deciding on what they're going to do and trying to make it perfect they never get started. Any little thing you do that will help you get closer to your goal is a success. Even if you only walk on the treadmill for 5 minutes per day you're still doing something to get closer to your goal. Remember that you always want to work toward you dream and you don't want to do anything to hurt it.

Tip #3-

The next tip to lose belly fat is to start eating healthier. The easiest way to do this is start buying healthier food when you go grocery shopping. If you don't let junk food into your house you'll never be tempted to eat. This is why it's important to take care of your diet at the root of the problem. You need to eat around 5-6 meals per day that contain around 400 calories depending on how much you weigh. These frequent meals are easy for your body to digest and they keep your metabolism burning calories at a high rate of speed.

Tip #4-

The next thing you need to do is get on the proper workout program. This means that you need to do cardio and weight training for your abs. When doing cardio start off slowly and increase your intensity and duration of your workout time each week. Eventually work up to exercising 4-5 times per week at 30-40 minute intervals. It's also important to train your abs. One of my favorite exercises is doing crunches while holding a 10-pound weight. Having weight will give you the extra resistance you need for better ab development. If you follow these steps you'll be on your way to getting the body of your dreams.
