The configuration of the new Laptop is far better than one could have asked for. The basic model of Dell XPS 15-L502X comes with a bigger hard disk of 500 GB. The performance of the new Laptop has been boosted by max turbo of 2.3GHz and the second generation i5 processor. The Laptop will take you to the next level of gaming experience. The hard disk is also fast with the 7,200rmp and just to remind you it is the base model. You can always add something you want from your end.

As it is a Gaming Laptop Dell has made sure they include the best in the industry configuration and thus you get 4 GB of RAM and in case you are not satisfies with the configuration you can upgrade it to Core i7 8 GB of RAM. Nvidia GeForce GT525 GPU is an added advantage for those who love to play high end games.

Appearance
However the Laptop looks very heavy and is lot bulky than you would have expected. The Laptop weights around 8.0 pounds with the battery. The Laptop has a shiny look and looks like a Plastic Laptop which is actually made of metal. The keyboard is flat and the could have not been flatter than this. However there no advantage of having it, it is just flat.

The sound is another added advantage with the new Dell Laptop which includes 5.1 speakers and gives you one of the best sound available with any of the Laptops. The HD webcam will add the charm as it comes with the 1,600x1,200 pixels resolution. The noise cancelation of the keyboard is another one of the feature that you will love as it will help to come closer to the business Laptop like web conferencing. Also to add we have 2 USB 3.0 port which is far more than average with 1 USB 2.0/ eSATA combo and a SD Card reader. The Laptop again proves to be Gaming Laptop with two ports for the headphone jack and it will help you to enjoy the games with the best possible way.

Improved Battery Lifer
The battery life of the Laptop was also better than before which turned out to be more than 4hrs which was almost half last year. The nine cell battery is powerful and keeps the Laptop available for the longer period of time, however the life of the battery is could have been better as the Laptops with similar range have better battery performance.
