The chemical JWH is named after its creator John W Huffman who was a chemist. The JWH is an analgesic chemical which belongs to the amine family and acts as a agonist at CB1 and CB2 receptors. The effects of JWH are same like that of THC. The spice gold contains JWH and in 2008, a pharmaceutical company claimed that JWH -18 was found in three versions of the herbal blend spice which was sold before as incense and it is one of the major active components. It was sold in a number of countries around the world since 2002.
JWH is found in the herbal mixture as an active ingredient. It is often smoked by the people for psychoactive effects. There is no ban on the chemical in the USA. The information is not limited about the benefits or hazards of the JWH and the long term effects of this compound are not known. There are many effects in some people like loss of memory for short term and increased cardiovascular system working. It may cause a threat to the body of the user.
