Cellulite is a skin condition that affects every woman at a certain period of her life. Cellulite, also known as the cottage cheese or orange peel syndrome, is prevalent to post-pubertal women or even the younger generations who are leading an unhealthful lifestyle. The condition’s dimply skin is concentrated in some regions of the body like the thighs, upper legs, buttocks, and hips. While it is considered by the medical society as a normal skin phenomenon, women can’t help but spend hundreds of dollars on cellulite treatment products and procedures to rid the body off of those orange peels. Why? This is because the lumps and bumps can be easily ridiculed by society.
Fortunately enough, there are a number of ways on how to get rid of cellulite from the body. There are even treatments that are costless or cost-free. Although totally eliminating cellulite especially around the legs and the lower body, it is possible to employ certain types of exercises to minimize its visibility.
Lunges.
This is a great exercise if you want to reduce fatty cells. Lunges can do the task with or without a gym membership. It doesn’t need any machine. All it needs is ample space. Position one foot farther forward from the other and bend the forwarded knee to a certain degree until the upper legs is parallel to the floor. Raise yourself up with yours hand placed on the hips. Make 12 repetitions of this and redo the exercise on the other leg. To speed up the benefits of the cellulite treatment exercise, it is recommended that dumbbells be carried on each hand. Lunges are good routines for increasing lean muscle density and overall strength of the leg, reducing the visibility of the unwanted cottage cheese in different parts of the lower body.

Leg Curls.
Exercises that are beneficial in terms of strengthening and firming up the muscles of the legs is also helpful in targeting the fat deposits around those areas. Leg exercises are remedies for cellulite even before the condition affects the individual. It is a great cellulite preventive measure. However, employing the exercise when you already acquire the condition can help ease out the dimply skin or even rid the body totally of it. Leg curls can be performed using a customized machine at a gym. You need to sit on a bench with the feet braced on the padded stoppers located the one end of the equipment. You need to raise your legs up resisting the set of weights attached to the machine. There are a lot of variations for the leg curls and one variation necessitates the individual to lie with stomach down on a padded bench. The padded stoppers are placed just above the ankles of the two legs. The person needs to raise the legs up until the required repetitions are accomplished. You can make 3 sets of this exercise with 12 repetitions each.

Hip Abduction/Adductionr
Abduction and Adduction are exercises that work the inner and outer muscles of the thighs. These are considered the best remedies for cellulite and can only be performed using a special kind of gym equipment. At one point, you will have to sit on the machine with padded stoppers in between your inner thighs and you’ll have to use your leg muscles to push the pads together. At another point, the padded stoppers will be placed on the outer thighs and you’ll have to push the legs apart using the muscles of the thigh. Both the hip abduction and adduction exercises are useful in the treatment of cellulite.
