Today cardiovascular disease is a hot topic of discussion. Often people are heard suffering from problems related to heart and vascular diseases. There are usually three risks involved in these types of diseases; the first one is the age. Normally it is seen people who are above the age of 60 are facing these problems very often. Even these diseases tend to run due to hereditary lines. Aside this high blood pressure is another risk factor that has basically no symptoms. A high cholesterol level can input excess pressure on your heart and it can lead to the blockage of arteries. Too much of cholesterol will increase the level of fatty deposition on the walls of the arteries thus resulting in narrowing and hardening of the arteries a condition of heart failure. Most people have the habit of smoking; it’s really dangerous and it is a serious risk factor. Finally it is overweight that gradually increases with increasing age. You need to reduce your weight to avoid any serious ailments related to heart. Hence the above factors involve great risk and if anyone is not conscious about these factors can easily get affected by heart and vascular diseases. With increasing age the arteries become narrow allowing less blood flow in the heart muscles. This form heart disease is called as coronary artery disease or atherosclerosis. This type of heart disease mainly occurs due to buildup of plaque in the walls of arteries. The symptoms related to coronary artery disease is chest pain, and pressure within the chest. Due to excess upsurge of plaque in the arteries, it prevents the sufficient flow of blood and this ultimately results in heart attack. If the situation is mild you can visit a cardiologist to check your diet and routine exercise. There are several avoidable and unavoidable risk factors that enhance the risk for coronary artery disease. Unavoidable factors include age and hereditary while avoidable factors include high cholesterol level and smoking. If there is a complete blockage in the coronary artery consequently it can lead to heart failure. Heart has got a very tiresome job of providing blood to all parts of your body failing which can escort to dangerous situation. The condition when heart is not able to pump anymore blood throughout the body is called as cognitive heart failure. And it is for this reason most often people faces some fatal consequences. Swelling of fluid in the lungs would be shown with the symptoms like shortness of breath, increased breathlessness and difficulty in breathing while lying down. If the swelling is too extreme then there will be swelling of lower parts of the body especially lower part of the leg. The only way to evade the problems of heart failure is going for cardiac surgery. If you are facing any such symptoms you should take preventive measures that can allow you to live a healthy life.
