Ventilation is the process of removing or changing air in any closed space and providing cool fresh air from outside. Proper ventilation of an office or a residential building is very important as they are susceptible to heat and humidity. The homes which are properly ventilated are healthier and happier compared to those which are not ventilated. Stagnation of hot and humid air inside the attic can lead to several diseases. It becomes a necessity to limit the concentration of pollutants inside a building so that the people present inside feel fresh. Thus it becomes very essential to have a good ventilating system installed in a building.
Turbine roof vent is an eco friendly and efficient ventilating device. These are light weight and strong ventilating device which does not require any power for its operation. It works on the wind energy and even a slight breeze is enough to rotate the turbine and start the ventilation. It does not produce any noise and works 24 hours a day. Since it is cost effective and eco friendly, its popularity is increasing with every passing day. This eco friendly roof turbine is replacing the conventional exhaust fans which are expensive and non eco friendly.
This environment friendly or green ventilator can be easily installed and configured to remove hot air from the attic. The roof turbine reduces moisture during winters and cuts on air conditioning cost during summers. Apart from running free of cost, it also saves the cost of electricity. Thus the cost of this ventilator is recovered within a few months of its operation. These are maintenance free and vibration free ventilating device. It also allows free daylight to enter the building and keeps the room lighted.
The turbine roof vent has several advantages over the conventional non eco friendly exhaust fans. These ventilators do not require any power and provide vibration free operation as they use the wind energy. They are light weight and strong and find applications in almost all types of buildings like factories, warehouses, industrial sheds and residential buildings. Since these turbines are easy to install, they can be fitted to any type of building. They can be configured to remove hot and obnoxious fumes and meet required fresh air changes. With the rising cost of power and shortage of electricity, it is high time that people move to this non conventional and eco friendly ventilator.
