Lord Vishnu is one of the Hindu gods who form the Trimurti, along with Brahma and Shiva. Lord Vishnu is the preserver of the universe. In every age, Vishnu inca ates on earth, whenever the forces of evil threaten to overwhelm the world and the rule of Dharma or righteousness. He takes different forms on such occasions. This inca ation was taken to destroy the evil demon, Hiranayakashipu, and protect his ardent devotee, Prahlad, who was the demon’s son. The day of Lord Narasimha’s advent is celebrated a Narasimha Jayanti 2020. In 2020, it will be celebrated on May 5. Runa Vimochana Sri Narasimha Stotram is a very powerful prayer.
