Sacred Feminine Sisters
Sacred Feminine Sisters are those friends who see us, love and accept us for who we are. They are our people who we can relax and be ourselves with.
Nurturing and healing our hearts are what our Sacred Feminine Sisters do with ease when we are together. Even when we are apart it helps to know that our sisters have our back always.
Sacred Feminine Sisters are the sisters of our soul. They are sometimes more in touch with what our soul needs then we are, helping us to navigate our way back home to ourselves.
Four of Us
Back in 2001 when I worked at NWAF in West Seattle four of us women would have powerful supportive conversations in the back room of the store. We decided to meet after work so that we could have quality time together to continue to nurture our friendships.
In September of that year the four of us, calling ourselves the YoYos, went to the ocean for a 3 day weekend. We ate, drank, laughed, cried, played on the beach and did art
together. Deb and I bravely jumped into the cold Pacific Ocean as Chris and Jayne cheered us on.
Jayne, Deb and Chris are artists that I respect. They have always encouraged me to express my creativity, too. That summer the four of us did water color paintings. My Sacred Feminine Sisters helped me to open up creatively which has led me to discover my inner writer.
Three of Us
This weekend it is time for us Sacred Feminine Sisters to get together again for YoYo Weekend 2011 as we have been doing for the last 10 years. Sadly this time is different as four of us has suddenly become three of us. Last month our Deb joined the angels after her cancer returned. Within 6 short weeks she left us to continue her spiritual journey on the other side.
Even as I write this it is still hard to believe that it is now just three of us. Our hearts are broken and it feels like we lost a limb.
The grieving continues as I honor my emotions letting the tears flow as I write this article. I am letting my heart speak my truth as the reality of four of us becoming three of us sinks in.
Continue the Sisterhood
Inside I want to scream out to the Goddess, "How could you let this happen to us? We were such good friends together and we became better women as a result of our sisterhood. Where do we go from here now? Show me the way." "Continue the sisterhood" are the words that I hear.
Yes, the YoYos are going to continue the sisterhood by getting together this weekend. This will be year 11 but without our Deb. We will eat, drink, laugh, cry, play and do art work together as we have done for 10 years.
As we continue the sisterhood we each value even more so the Sacred Feminine energy within ourselves, each other and all the Sacred Feminine sisters in our lives.
Thank you Deb, my Sacred Feminine Sister on the other side. You have helped me to find myself by seeing me, loving me and accepting me. And thank you my beautiful Jayne and Chris for continuing the YoYo sisterhood so that together we will help each other heal once again.

When a client sets up an Intuitive Reading session with me I suggest that they write down their questions before the session. The specific questions help the client to focus their intention on what they want guidance for in their life.
At the beginning of the Intuitive Reading with each individual, I go into a meditative state and ask Spirit to allow me to be a clear and pure channel of love, healing and guidance for the client. The answer to each question flows through me in words and pictures. The information that I channel is spiritual yet practical.

Intuitive Readings are based on the client's questions about relationships, career issues, emotional issues, health, attitudes and beliefs, loved ones who have passed on and more. Maureen goes into a meditative state where she accesses specific guidance in answer to the questions being asked. The channeled information she receives during an intuitive reading is spiritual, yet very practical. After a reading with Maureen, individuals feel more relaxed, reassured and more positive about their lives.
Reiki Training & Reiki Healing
In September 1992 Maureen received her first degree Reiki training. After years of practicing Reiki healing in small groups, workshops, centers, and retreats throughout the United States, Maureen received her second degree Reiki and Reiki Master Degree in August 1999.
