In this age of globalization where the world is becoming a village, and people find it necessary all the time to communicate with others from different nations and backgrounds, a common globalized language is imperative. Thankfully, the language of English has bridged the gap and is widely recognized as the global language in the modern world. However, many non-English speaking nations find it difficult to communicate in English and are consistently hiring teachers from home or abroad to train themselves. One such major example is Middle East, which regularly feels the need to interact with the rest of the world for business and commerce. But the number of English speaking people in the Middle East is really low and they hire teachers from abroad providing them with remuneration starting from Rs. 20,000. To tap on this huge job market, one simply needs to be fluent in English and go through a proper training course such as a TEFL Certification course or the TESOL Diploma course. The TEFL (Teaching English as Foreign Language) course is designed for people interested in teaching young learners. This course acquaints the teachers with the latest developments in the techniques, skills and methodology of teaching. A teacher during this course learns the best ways of developing the four basic language skills, which are listening, speaking, reading and writing. Planning, execution and evaluation of lessons best suitable for teaching young learners form an integral part of this course. A teacher is trained on the skills of classroom management, handling of students, and understanding the psyche of trainees. A TEFL Certification course is a mandatory requirement for teachers interested in teaching young learners abroad including the Middle East. The TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages or Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) Diploma course is a more advanced course. It is a complete course on the know-how of teaching the language of English. This course is elaborate but helps in preparing a teacher to teach adults as well as young learners. The obstacles in the way of teaching English to people born with a different mother tongue are many and varied. The teachers during this course are trained to teach the concepts of English language like grammar and comprehension. They are trained to develop the vocabulary and the basic language skills required for communicating in English. The expertise of teaching phonology, context and language modeling and communicative ways are all a part of the TESOL Diploma course. It helps a teacher to plan and execute lessons suitable for a specific trainee group. This course trains a teacher on the psyche of a trainee group comprising of people coming from different age groups, linguistic, regional and cultural backgrounds. The TESOL Diploma course is an all-comprehensive course that trains a teacher to teach mixed and large groups confidently and handle a crisis that may arise in a classroom. In order to bag these very lucrative jobs in the Middle-East one needs to be well-versed in English language and should go through either the TEFL Certification course or the TESOL Diploma course depending on their personal area of interest.
