The Samsung Galaxy S is the smartphone that started it all for Samsung. Now, there is simply no looking back for the Galaxy brand. That the South Korean mobile phone maker has delivered big time with the Samsung Galaxy S is something that even a ten year old child in the UK would have realized and known why as well. But what is not being fully gauged and appreciated is the fact that amount of goodwill in the UK mobile phone market place the ‘Galaxy’ brand has generated and continuing to do so even today. With new smartphones at different levels pouring out from the Samsung assembly with the coveted Galaxy tag attached to them, the overall benefits that Samsung is deriving out of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S smarpthone handset is probably something that would never be known accurately. But this is not something for anyone to fret about. It is, in fact, time to celebrate the success of a true winner of a smartphone handset in the Samsung Galaxy S. Higher-end software and hardware richness is found in the Samsung Galaxy S! No smartphone (and this includes the currently number one Apple iPhone 4.0 and the more recently launched Apple iPhone 4S) has touched the totally staggering as well as hitherto unaccomplished sales figures of 20 million units world-wide. What is more, the Galaxy S series is able to sustain this phenomenal sales performance even with the second generation Samsung Galaxy S2 as well. As even the Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone handset has crossed the mind blowing 20 million unit sales mark. Samsung ensured that only the best of features went into o this star Galaxy product. You really cannot go wrong with a crystal clear four inches wide touch sensitive display screen that is aided by the Super AMOLED Plus technology, dual core 1.2 GHz Orion processor, and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread version of the operating system. The net connectivity and data networking software and hardware inputs are the best in its category – 3G network compatibility, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n; DLNA, GPRS of Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 -, EDGE of Class 12, v3.0 with A2DP, v2.0 microUSB, etc. The five mega pixel camera with its ability to return 720p high definition video recording takes the cake. As does the social networking and the Hubs – Social Hub, Games Hub, Reader Hub, and the Music Hub. The user could not have asked for anything more than this richness. Samsung is now sustaining the momentum with not only the Samsung Galaxy S and the third generation Samsung Galaxy S3 handset that is on pre-order in the UK with a May 3, 2012 official launch scheduled.
