Your Divine Life:
Sometime during our lives we may find ourselves settling. Settling can kind of creep up on us. It lurks in the bush, under a rock, in a job opportunity or even on a date. Settling lurks, creeping and watching for the perfect opportunity to attack. The attack comes when we’re tired. Tired of waiting, tired of going without when we make the decision that what we have is good enough. But when we make the decision to settle we call it acceptance.

We call our settle an act of acceptance; we decide that it’s an act of maturity. Yes we have aged and matured and now we understand that we just can’t have everything we want. We accept what has come along because for a moment it just feels better; it feels better to have than to not have, even if the having is not quite what we had in mind. But then the unthinkable happens; we become stuck in our settle. We feel obligated to our choice. We come up with a zillion reasons why it’s not a good idea to stop the “acceptance” (settling) and move on to the possibility of having that which we truly desire.

Our Divine Life Exists Nowr
It truly does. The trick is allowing it to be our experience in the now. The operative word is allow. Allow yourself to feel the word…allow. Take a moment to breathe it in. Your divine life exists now. It must because you have envisioned it. You may have thought of it often. Considered what it would be like if your could write for a living, have your entrees prepared and delivered to you every night to free up more time for your family, perhaps you dream of opening a spiritual center. But almost always you have followed up your visions with “I can’t because….” The moment you made that statement whether consciously or subconsciously you stopped the allowing.
You built your walls of limitation.
Self Love knows that those visions, those desires are God attempting to express through you. Every time you say “I can’t” you are turning God down. How many times do you push God away every day? Do you use your kids as an excuse to say no to God? Perhaps your husband is your excuse or money. Did you consider that when God gave you those visions that God also considered everything and everyone in your life?

We use excuses because we are afraid that we can’t do, be or have what we desire most or that we simply don’t deserve it. Self-love opens the flood gates for God to express through us because we finally stop saying no to our own Divinity.
