This article explores the idea of mixing learning with a magical adventure. The best way for children to learn is through hands on experiences, something that can really grab their attention. As we all know, children have a short attention span so in order to help them learn, the most effective way is to capture the essence of interest. rnTeaching and learning becomes a simple task when it is done visually. Children like to learn by their senses, touch, smell and the beautiful visuals that school tours can offer.

Schools do their best to ensure that children are involved and that they are enjoying the practical education, although most of these tasks just aren’t the same as taking the children away on school trips to Paris .

For some, it may be difficult to comprehend how a holiday tour can teach just as well as a class room environment but with simple tasks set alongside with the exciting activities the children are sure to learn quickly!

So what is it a Disneyland Tour can teach so well? For starters, the Jungle Cruise can illustrate the different lifestyles of each jungle animal and their behaviours, alongside an education of rivers and countries. The children are likely to pick this up quickly as they want to know everything in this exciting journey as they are taken in groups along the water in a skipper.

The showcase at Tiki Tiki Room involves all types of tropical birds and fascinating plant life. This section of the venture also teaches the children about culture as they learn about the Hawaiian Gods, allowing the children to develop interest for various cultures and countries.

Not forgetting about the tunnel of Toontown and Fantasyland! This is one of the most delightful experiences of them all for young children as it opens up the imagination into a different dimension and allows the children to use the creative spark inside them. They are learning whilst playing and socialising.

rnFollowing on from Fantasyland the children also gain knowledge of diversity and equality on the tour of ‘It’s a small world’ as the singsong musical boat ride features singing dolls with the theme of global unity and samples a moral of worldwide peace. This also helps the children have an understanding of fairness.

rnAnother attraction at Disneyland Tour is Innoventions at Tomorrowland. Innoventions showcases newly available technology and advanced upcoming technology. The children have access to ‘high-tech’ and even get to meet the fictional mayor of the ‘Tomorrowland’ who provides information in a comical manner and sings. Children are taught about the technological advances that allow them to connect with what they enjoy most, for example, television. The children are shown this by a fictional family and home, helping them learn in an energetic and realistic way. They learn about upcoming science with hands on experience of using and exploring equipment.

rnChildren are unaware that they are learning as the trip is such a playful and inviting place for them to be. They are automatically and subconsciously picking up bundles of information on the go and enjoying it!

rnTaking a school trip to Paris may seem an extreme way of educating but it is an experience the children will never forget.
