Samlesburry Hall invites you and your school to become the part of its history. After joining their Lady of the House, you will take it as one of the best school trips in Lancashire. The lady relieves the Tudor Ages with students and allows them to discover and explore all aspects of Tudor times, and undoubtedly the wonderful hall. The Lady of the House will welcome the class as they arrive, and show them to the room they will use as a base for the day. She will then take them on a Tour of the Hall, sharing Tall Tales and Spooky Stories!!

There are lots of activities to get involved into for children such as looking around the Hall for the Gargoyles and Family Crests. The pupils will then debate and get a chance to write and sketch them into their activity book. If you're lucky (due to weather), you can choose to go on an outside tour which ends in afternoon to take part in role play based on history of the families who lives at the Hall in Tudor times.

The school trips to Lancashire can be organized anytime during the year and you should have at least 40 pupils for a school trip. The cost will be £ 6 per child for the day. The package includes an activity book which can be taken away by the children with them. In order to ensure maximum fun, pupils are encourages to dress up in Tudor clothing but this is not mandatory. The best way to book your trip is to visit the hall website and know the contact person you need to speak to. Similarly, you can go for a craft fair North West.
