Working in the Seo industry you may be well used to having to change your solution to the job when things change. It is so crucial for you to be well prepared to learn new things continuously in Search engine optimisation to give yourself a chance of being as in the know as all of the other great Search engine optimization experts out there. Now that we are a couple of months into 2011 we are seeing a few changes take place, but none of them are eliciting much surprise. We've previously seen that page rank is dropping even further in terms of implying a good website. Of course many people working in Search engine optimisation already knew this from this past year, but it is more of an issue now that we stride into 2011. The difficulty is not having to recognise this. The hardest thing of all is persuading your client of a better page to link from which does not specifically have great page rank. We can forget all about page rank being a defining factor in whether a site is good, but can you persuade your client to feel the same way?

The focus this year should be on client contact. It is important to understand what they want you to do, and also to make sure that they understand why you are doing the work you are doing, and how this will spell success for them. If you aren't clear, then it is going to be difficult for them to understand just how you are helping. It is important to take time out of your work to make sure that your client understands about page rank, and why will be giving it scant regard when it comes to judging websites. This might be a tough conversation to have, but it will be the best thing for both you and your client when you come to show them sites which don't have good page rank which you think are relevant and useful.

Once you client feels that they have a bit of a grip on the work you are doing, they will feel like they are a bit more in charge of proceedings. the one thing to remember in 2011 is to maintain transparency at all times. In the eyes of the search engines, and of course in the eyes of your client. There are three things that you have to remember this year. Initially you of course have to work hard for your clients, you also need to try to help your clients to understand what it is you do, and you need to sell your fresh ideas to your clients who will now understand thanks to their new found knowledge.
