So many people see themselves as entrepreneurs, so they look into various businesses they believe would help them to achieve this goal. They get into the business of their choice only to realize that the business they chose was not something they were really passionate about, but because they wanted to become their own boss, or gain personal freedom, they stuck it out. I came across an article entitled *”Why Your Business Should Be Your Passion” which stated, “When you choose to open a business, your chances at success and satisfaction are greater if you love the work you do.” (Gallo, Carmine. 2008). I could not have said it better.
Passion plays a vital role in how successful our businesses will become. Look at Martha Stewart and Oprah Winfrey, who both became multimillionaires by just doing what they LOVED. What is your passion? Working with your hands, working with children, sewing, etc., these are passions that can be turned into a successful business. YOUR successful business.
So take the time today, find out what you are the most passionate about, research the need for it and use it for your good, I promise you, it will pay off in the end. Remember it is time to start INVESTING IN YOU!
