Have you ever had that experience where you just "feel" like things are cluttered all around you? Everywhere you look, you feel as if your space is closing in around you? Nowhere to breathe?

Often clutter in our space and in our mind prevents us from working at our maximum capacity.

I've been doing a lot of Law of Attraction research and self discovery lately, and there was a time that I felt as if "nothing new" was coming into my life...

Even being an organized person who likes to get rid of stuff often, we are always accumulating...

But I quickly realized, it's because there was no room to allow anything new in!

Aaaaaa-haaaaaaa!

So I diligently started going around my home and office and discarded old, used, unneeded items...

Physically, my space and "energy" around me felt cleaner and clearer even! I was able to create space to allow fresh new abundance in.

So today I want to share with you besides the obvious... Where clutter can hide and block you from bringing new into your life and business...

When de-clutterring, remember to toss or donate unused items. There are plenty of non profit organizations that will gladly come to your home and pick up at no cost to you...AND you get the tax benefit!

Be sure to purge all things that you don't use on a regular basis.

All clothes that don't fit, you never wear or are outdated. If they don't make you feel like a million bucks, you shouldn't be wearing them anyway!

If you never cook turkey, you don't need 2 turkey basters!
( I think you get the picture! )

Let's start with the usual suspects: I'm not going to spend a lot of time here because these are the typical culprits!

I want to tell you about the "hidden clutter" that many people don't even think about!

• Closets
• Drawers
• Entryway
• Garage
Now onto the hidden areas...

Pantry:

Donate multiple items that are going to expire in the next few months to a local food pantry. Wouldn't you rather donate then waste it? (if food is expired, they will not be able to accept it and you should toss).

Medicine Cabinet:

Clean out all old unused shampoos, beauty products and medications. These all have expiration dates. And no, you'll likely never use all those little bottles of travel stuff you've been collecting from the 80's!

Linen closet:

• Toss old ratty torn towels and wash rags. Often, animal shelters will take these.
• Extra sets of sheets from old beds. Comforters you no longer use.
The Office:

• Discard old papers you printed to "read someday" or at least keep them in a to read file. The truth is. If you haven't read it already, it wasn't that important to begin with!
• Clean out files in your filing cabinet. Purge, shred, trash what is no longer time appropriate or needed.
• Clean out computer files that are no longer relevant.
• Empty the "trash bin" in your email accounts!
• Donate unused books.
• Discard old notes and post it's that are clogging up your walls and computer screen!
• Toss old "to-do" lists.
Your Phone:

  • Clean out old text messages!
  • Uninstall unused apps

Once you take the time to clear out your physical space, the universe has room – literally and figuratively to give you what you have been asking for in your life regarding abundance.
I would love to know if you've ever done a clean out process like this before? And if so...what were you able to make space for?
