Everyday, people all over the world are bombarded with new, fad, nutritional supplements on television, newspapers and internet. These products all carry a promise of quick and painless solution for your problems, naturally, for a hefty sum. Wheatgrass nutrients deliver almost all of those benefits and they deliver them very cheaply. Wheatgrass nutrients are safe; there are no side effects, and the sheer volume of the good stuff which you'll be putting into your body greatly outweighs the cons. All it takes is a couple of minutes a day to prepare the most nutrient rich wheatgrass juice. If you like the idea of waking up in the morning refreshed from a good night's rest, having energy levels so high that your daily chores are a breeze, making your immune-system so strong that it easily fights off various diseases, having a skin that appears rejuvenated, tightened and glowing, then consuming wheatgrass nutrients is the way to go. Let's examine the constituents that make these claims possible. 1. Enzymes. Enzymes are necessary for normal bodily functions. They act as catalysts; they assist in every chemical reaction our body performs and are made of proteins. In particular, wheatgrass contains superoxide dismutase enzyme which helps in slowing down the aging process, cytochrome oxidase which has detoxification properties and transhydrogenase that strengthens the muscles of the heart. 2. Chlorophyll. Some refer to it as concentrated energy of the sun. Wheatgrass contains around 70% of it. It is almost identical to our hemoglobin blood protein and aids in building blood count. It makes our immune-system rock-hard and able to cope with various pathogens. It can remove foul odors, make wounds heal faster, it helps with pimples and acne and does wonders in the process of detoxification. 3. Vitamins. Wheatgrass is rich in vitamin A that plays a huge role in gene transcription, maintains good eye sight and keeps skin healthy. Vitamin B12 is essential to normal functioning of brain and nervous system, and forming of the blood. Vitamin C, as everybody already knows, keeps cold at bay and protects your body against free radicals. Vitamin E is very prized at beauty parlors because of its skin tightening properties and anti-wrinkle action. 4. Elements. Wheatgrass is rich in phosphorous and calcium, both good for bones and teeth and prevention of osteoporosis. Iron is another wheatgrass constituent and is invaluable in hemoglobin and myoglobin production. Wheatgrass nutrients, as a part of your healthy diet and coupled with some form of exercise, will do wonders for you.
