Do you find the process of writing SEO articles too difficult? Then, let me help you simplify the whole process. Follow these steps the next time you tap on your keyboard:
1. First step is to know the keywords or keyphrases that you would like to target. You need to know the terms or phrases that your potential buyers are using on search engines when they’re searching for information that is closely related to your chosen niche or to the product that you sell. For example, if you’re selling digital cameras, you would want to know if your prospects are searching for the term “affordable cameras”, “latest cameras”, “best cameras for outdoors”, etc. Knowing these keywords is very important. These will give you a solid idea as to what topics you must talk about in order to address the learning needs of those people who are most likely to buy from you.
2. Look for related terms. Next step is to identify the words that are closely related to the keywords that you’re targeting. You will need to use these terms on your articles as well to make it easier for search spiders to analyze your content. For example, if you’re targeting the phrase “affordable mineral make ups” you may also want to insert terms like cheap make ups and inexpensive mineral make ups as they may also be used by your prospects when they’re looking for the information that you’re offering.
3. Start writing your articles. Focus on delivering great value to your readers the moment you start tapping on your keyboard. Forget about optimizing your articles at this point. Write your articles with the aim to help and entertain your readers. Load each of your copies with useful information and make sure that you make them interesting to read. It will really help if you use conversational tone and if you make your articles readable, scannable, and very easy to understand. I would recommend using short paragraphs and subheadings.
4. Optimize your articles. Start by inserting your chosen keywords on locations where search spiders can easily locate them. Based on my experience, putting your keywords on your titles and on the first 90 characters really helps. You can also insert the keywords on each of your paragraph or at least once for every 100 words. Make sure that when doing this, you will not sacrifice the quality or readability of your articles. It’s important to make sure that these keywords will blend perfectly with your content to give your audience great reading experience. Don’t forget to use the related terms and phrases as well. These will help you not only in making your articles more search engine friendly but also in making sure that your articles will not sound redundant.
5. Proofread your articles. Be a responsible article writer and proofread your work before you distribute them to directories or before you post them to your website.
