INTRODUCTORY COMMENTS:

These are some of the notes (in point form) that I've made and collected over the years, which may be of interest and get you "tinking" about these "airey-fairey matters". These notes are sourced from a interview with John Gray with Oprah on Oct 14 1998. In sharing these notes, it clarifies my thinking about the 'overlap' between the subconscious mind and the concept of a "Higher Consciousness" (another dimension of being".). HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE

What do I really want out of life?
Follow my soul's desire.

Identify your soul's desire and follow it.
Peace of mind is most important and a good test of whether you're on the right path. Don't try to live up to other people's expectations. Meditation and jou
alling enables me to stay focussed on what I'm really trying to accomplish and it gives me the strength that I need to overcome obstacles that might come into that path. Meditation and jou
alling is the key.
It's OK to let others know what I want. n

Open your heart. We are not alone.n("Oh God, my heart is open - come into my heart.")
Be aware of who and what you are.

What is it I really want?
Meditate and get in touch with your heart's desire.
State your intention.
Then knowledge of how to get there, intuition comes into your mind When you take one step forward, God takes nine steps towards you. But you gotta take that one step forward and the universe will respond.

The universe responds to desire.
Just ASK. Set goals.

Believe in Divine Intervention.
You already have what you need to be happy.

See yourself doing what you want to accomplish in your life (ie. visualise).

Negative emotions tell you when you're off balance, "off-track".
Miracles happen, co-incidences occur. nn *
Remove the blocks in your life, that are holding you back. If there are wounds and blocks in your past, they keep you from moving forward to your soul's desire and keep you from moving forward and being successful in your life.

A successful person does what an unsuccessful person doesn't want to do."n *
There is power in forgiveness. Take that first step.

You are a powerful and creative spirit.
In touch of higher self, following one's own heart.
"I do not judge and I do not condemn others."
"When I do I try and correct myself."

It's YOUR life. Heal the wounds, continue to take steps forward, progress and strive for your dreams.

Share your latent positive spirit and create more positivenenergy.

Get in touch with what you really want.
Ask yourself: "Why Do I want it?"
Let go of past guilt.
"What would it take to make me really happy?"

It's impossible not to be grateful for the blessings you DO have.n *
How to connect with your spirit?

The part that connects with God is not via the mind (conscious),nbut through grace.
The soul speaks to us through intuition - the way we feel.
"The road to your soul is through your heart."

Only YOU know in your heart what your intention is - nsay it with love." There is intention behind any action (whether good or bad).

"Every doing is what you are becoming."

Problems don't get better with time. Face it, so you can replace it.

Life rewards ACTION

Even if you have some disability, see it as ABILITY. Change your perspective. Just work around it, your deficits. Go out, stretch out and help others.

You are your own life manager.
