Once you came home with your little pup and recognize you have nothing for him. While there are hundreds and hundreds of stuffs you can buy him, here are the first basic needs he'll need right now. Remaining things can be picked up later.

1. Bowls - You may think getting bowls is the easiest job, but there is more to it than what seems the best. Prefer buying stainless steel bowls with a rubber bottom and tapered sides. This will keep your French Bulldog puppy from moving the bowl all over the floor and the tapered sides will help end spills. They are also very comfort to wash and extremely durable!

2. Collar - Leather or nylon collars are constantly the good choices. Your puppy is absolutely going to grow up so consider getting a collar that is adjustable so that it can expand as he does. There are many places that will stitch your puppy's name and your phone number on the collar in case he moves away.

3. Leash - Using a retractable strap for your French Bulldog puppy is not the best bet since he is still so little. A 6 foot strap with a strong metal clip will work just well. The length is fine for training exercises as well as walking.

4. ID Tag - Even if your puppy's collar holds his name and your number, you can still prefer him to have an ID tag as well. You can add more info on the tag and he will never grow out of it.

5. Chew Toys - French bulldog puppies are not big chewers but every puppy sets through the teething stage and you need to have these handy for your sanity as well as your puppies. Brands that are durable can be stuffed with extravagance to encourage chewing.

6. Bed - Your puppy will need something soft and comfortable to sleep on. Seek for a bed that has polyfill conserves as this preserves heat and will help keep your puppy warm and sheltered all night.

These are just the basic needs that your French Bulldog puppies for his first few days in the new home. As time goes on and your puppy grows, you will study his likes and dislikes so that you can choose better on treats, food, etc.
