Should I quit my business now that I found a job?

A job is a short term goal and a business is a long term goal. Short term goals may satisfy immediate needs. Long term goals full fill our life long dreams. My short term goal is delivering newspapers on Sundays. I like it because I can do it while my husband is at home with our children. My long term goal is to be an affiliate marketer.
Like most people, my life is very busy. I have a lot of responsibilities. You cannot put life on hold to learn. I am a mom to two young girls and a wife. I don't have 40 hours a week to dedicate to my business. Any chance I get I work at developing my Internet Marketing skills. There is a lot to learn: product knowledge, search engine optimization, social media communication skills and paid marketing.
It is advisable to keep your job while you learn the skills needed to succeed in your business. As an affiliate marketer there is no membership fee but there is a cost for paid advertisement. Some paid advertisement works better than other types. It is a learning experience. Do your research and follow the professional marketers. My first goal is to pay off my credit card debt. My second goal is to invest in advertising for my business. The next time I will be more careful.
This picture says it all. I am a newspaper carrier on Sunday for the Market Place. My job is nice because I am an independent contractor. I do not have a boss. I can do my job whenever I want to do it on Sundays. I have only been given one complaint by my customers. "Please stop giving me a newspaper. I am not on your list." It is safe to say that if I decide not to do my job no one will complain and I will get a pay check.
The newspaper I deliver is called the Market Place, which has all the ads from the major retail stores: Krogers, Meijers, Walmart, Aldis, Dollar General and Save A Lot. It is a free paper delivered once a week on Sundays. I see it as unwanted offline spam. A few people may read it and benefit from the savings.
As a newspaper carrier, I get paid whether or not I do a good job. I don't necessarily like it and I will not be doing it all my life. There is little satisfaction from doing the job. My passion is marketing on the Internet. There are so many skills to learn. My friends and I exchange ideas on Facebook. The greatest advantage to being an Internett Marketer is that you can do this whenever and wherever you want to do it. I really love the great relationships that I am building on social media. This career can help you retire sooner. The bigger your downline is the less work you will have to do.
Live Life On Your Terms Do Not Be A Slave To A Job Forever.
