I don't know how many times in my life I've heard these words: »go with the flow«. The meaning is to do whatever life brings to you. It works perfectly most of the time and especially in the time of not so many obligations – in our childhood for example. Later these words just lost their significance.

I remember how often life brought me something in its flow, but it was slightly different than in previous supplies. The reason and main difference was in my feelings to what I was given from life. Of course I did blame everyone around me, what else? The question is; am I able to react differently on what was given to me and do I have this power on others that I blame.

What if I knew some tips previously, would I use them or is there a life hint to go through experience before noticing tips that are a pretty good way to avoid troubles?

Tips that helped me overcome the given life and start walking my own road to heaven.

1. Stop for a bit and listen to your heart (or inner child). The inner voice exactly knows what you like and where you can only find the joy. When avoiding inner voice, we start to react like others – it’s a common flow. Like others did before and we say it's a social proof, we do it also. But how the heck could this work. Don't we say at the same time that we are unique? I agree with that. No cell or atom is located on two different places, right? So it is the same with our mind and thoughts. If we tend to be unique, so should our reaction be unique. No social proof can guarantee my or your happiness.

2. Start giving attention to your inner voice. In first step we hear the voice. In the next one we try to communicate with that voice. Let's listen what it is saying. Don't say I don't have time for this... do you have something more important to do, come on. Switch off the TV and listen for a minute or two.

3. Play a game. Yes I know, you don't have time, this is for kids, I hear you J. But let's be childish for a few minutes. Ask yourself what if this voice tells the truth, what if I should listen and just once do what it tells me ... for fun, What can I loose? Ask yourself this like it is a game and then imagine the possible results. While you are imagining them, be and stay positive. Make results best possible. No excuses, no embarrassing situations, no shame, you have nothing to loose, remember - it's a game.

4. Get real. Choose one of the easiest obstacles where your voice disagrees and tells you something illogical, but also something that carries relief and joy. Try it in real life! Be brave.

5. Practice and continue with the game and realization. Once you do a few inner voices getting real your confidence will probably extend.

In my life I loved playing games, I still do. I often make metaphors about life that contain the word game. I found this kind of funny and looking on kids playing games, I can say I see a close connection between game and joy. If you have your own metaphors to share with us, please share them.

»Go with Your flow« - words that changed my life when I put them to reality. Of course there are still times when something doesn't work and I search for the answers in common flow. That's a habit I'm trying to eliminate gradually. I think it's nothing wrong with this. I lived with numerous habits for years, so it's normal there are several roots still there in my mind. So, stay brave and dig deeper!
