Should You Try to Get Your Ex Boyfriend Back? Find Out Now!
Do you find yourself wondering should you try to get your ex boyfriend back? After maybe weeks of not seeing or talking to him, you would want to think that you're getting over him fast. But just one accidental meeting or sometimes even the mere mention of his name can trigger that desire to be with him again. Don't worry about what you're feeling. If you were with your ex for a long time, he would be like a bad habit that is hard to break.
Feelings of loneliness and despair are your constant companions during the time that you are trying to heal and move on. You would find yourself wrestling with anger, pain and misery and blaming him for all these emotions. At the same time you're feeling all these negative emotions, a part of you wants to get your ex boyfriend back and just close your eyes to whatever went wrong in the past.
It's a confusing time in your life, but if you do decide to get your ex boyfriend back, try not to make the following common mistakes:
1. Beg him to take you back. When you come out too desperate for him to come back, you'll only succeed to drive him further away. It could be that it is your neediness that made him lose interest in you in the first place. Never beg! Keep a part of your self respect intact by not making him feel that you are totally nothing without him.
2. Stalk him. This is the worst thing you can do! Even when a man is involved in a relationship, he would usually ask for his space. All the more will he want his space if he has already broken up with you. Don't try to call him at odd hours and don't suddenly show up at his place of work. Don't even frequent the bars where he usually hangs around. You'll only end up alienating him.
3. Make him jealous. Some people would advice you to jump into another relationship just to make him feel jealous. But really, what would that gain you? You'll only end up hurting somebody else's feeling and more often than not, you'll just confirm in your ex's mind that you are no longer available for reconciliation.
It' s quite difficult to let your mind rule your emotions right after a breakup, but before you do anything you might regret later, keep asking yourself if you really want to get your ex boyfriend back. Is the relationship worth saving?
If you feel in your heart that you really desire to get your ex boyfriend back, then try to avoid making the same mistakes twice. Check if your ex boyfriend is as willing as you to give it another try before you fill your mind with hopes of getting back together again. Analyze where you both failed and work on these issues to assure a longer lasting and more fulfilling relationship.
