Should everyone learn stock trading? It can be very profitable, but that doesn’t mean that everyone should take part. Some people will probably be better off as far away from the stock market as possible. There are three traits that you must have if you want to succeed as a stock trader. 1. Emotional Control All traders need to be able to control their emotions. Emotions are your biggest enemy when it comes to your money. Nothing will have you flocking with the heard and running around in circles quite like they will. Remember the way to succeed is to go against the grain the more you let your emotions control you the more you will believe there is safety in numbers. 2. Time Trading takes a lot of time. Now once you get the hang of it it might only take a few minutes a day to find new positions, or place your stops on old positions. But to get to that point takes some time and hard work. You have to be able to test and tweak new systems until you finally find the best one that works for you. It might take a while, so if you do not want to put that much effort into picking stocks you’ll be better off just buying some big ETF and hoping it is trading for more in 10 years. 3. Can Handle Losses Trading stocks is like one big poker game. You don’t win every hand, it is just part of the game. If you can’t handle it get out and never sit back down again. The goal is not to eliminate loss but to become overall profitable in spite of them. For more on learning stock trading or other tips visit http://www.stocks-simplified.com/stock_tips.htmlrn
