Solar heating systems have replaced the conventional heating systems due to the shortage of electric power and gas supplies in remote areas. The rising costs of electric power and scarcity of gas supplies have increased the use of natural and renewable source of heating. The use of solar energy is one of the most effective methods of heating water and homes in most of the countries with cold climatic conditions. As it involves huge number of benefits, the solar heating systems are being used in a number of countries all over the world. Today there are more than hundreds of online stores that supply a variety of heating systems with advanced technological features. Since it is the most cleanest and renewable source of energy, it is used widely in different parts of the world. Solar Heating Systems- The Various Types There are mainly two types of solar heating systems which include the active heating system and the passive heating system. The active heating system is more efficient compared to the passive heating system. The active heating system use either air or water to heat homes and offices. The energy from the sun is trapped through solar panels installed on roof tops. This solar energy heats the water or the air present in the heating system and it is then stored in chambers for heating homes and apartments. Homes are heated through special vents installed in the rooms. The passive solar heating systems are considered less efficient than the active heating systems as heat is absorbed through the walls and roofs. It also includes the process of installing black colored storage tanks to absorb the heat of the sun. There are many factors to consider before installing the solar heating systems. The geographical position of the home, the size of the home and individual requirements are some of the most important factors that decide the size of the solar panels that need to be installed. A huge home requires a large number of panels to heat the entire home. Even swimming pools can be heated with the help of these solar heating systems today. Why Do People Prefer To Use These Heating Systems? There are obviously many reasons why most of the people consider using heating systems which utilise the energy from the sun. One of the most important reasons includes its costs. Though the initial charges of installation are quite huge, it requires no further costs as the energy is derived from the sun. Unlike the other heating systems, it does not pollute the environment and is considered to be the cleanest source of natural energy. It is environment friendly and causes no harm to mankind. The solar heating systems are user friendly as it is easy to maintain and involves lesser maintenance compared to the other methods of heating. It can also be used anytime as it depends only on the energy of the sun which it stores in the form of heated water or air in the storage chambers. Today a huge variety of heating systems can be bought from online stores at attractive price rates which are in- built with a number of attractive features.
