We should check our routine diet to make our skin healthy. A good diet is really important in maintaining our glowing skin. There should be all type of nutrients in our routine diet like Vitamin B, Vitamin C, protein, zinc and calcium etc. Our diet should consist of grains, seasonal fruits, yoghurt, milk and vegetables. That is why it is said, a proper healthy diet is necessary to look beautiful. Given below is the number of food items that should be included in your beauty diet. Protein - Eating protein keeps our nails strong and moisturized. Some of the rich sources of proteins are Milk products, lean turkey, beans, boneless chicken breast and tuna are rich in proteins. Vitamin B - Eggs, poultry, green vegetables, onions, raw oats, bean sprouts and milk are rich in vitamin B. Food that is rich in vitamin B makes our hair shiny. To keep our hair healthy and shiny, silica is really important. Almonds- Almonds have very good anti-aging properties. They have a high amount of fatty acids and a lot of vitamin E which help in keeping our skin beautiful and healthy. It also has antioxidant selenium. Vitamin C- Kiwi fruit is the best source of vitamin C. Vitamin C helps in reducing the wrinkles. Few other good sources of vitamin C are honeydew, oranges, papaya, muskmelon, mango and watermelon. Zinc and Calcium- To get rid of pimples, these both minerals are very useful. Zinc is found in seafood, oysters and milk. The two advantages of having calcium is, they help in clearing the skin and it is also useful for bones. Zinc and calcium are not only helpful in getting rid of pimples but also in getting rid of wrinkles too. Sea Food and Fish- Sea Food and Fish It helps in hydrating and nourishing the skin by eating an oily fish like salmon and tuna which contain omega-3 fatty acids. You can also add a good quality fish oil supplement to your diet if you cannot eat a fish. It will not only help your health but also boost in making your skin look young and glowing. Water - Drinking water is necessary for the maintenance of a healthy and glowing skin. One should at least drink 8 glasses of water. Your body requires sufficient hydration for a large number of processes. So when you drink enough water; your body is capable of carrying essential nutrients to the cells. Don’ts There are many things which should be avoided like smoking and drinking. Smoking is injurious to heath as it leads to aging of the skin and also, it dries the skin cells. Drinking is injurious to health too as it also dehydrates the skin which in result makes your skin dull and dry. Do’s Exercise 30 Minutes 4-5 Days a week Just taking a good diet will not only help you to keep your skin healthy but one need to do exercise along with that to get a good and a healthy skin. 30 minutes of exercise not only improves the texture of the body but it also helps in improving blood circulation which in return makes your skin look beautiful. It increases the flexibility of your body. It not only helps you out in building up the muscles but it also helps in fighting with the signs of aging. A regular exercise will make you look fresh and young. Exercise also maintains mental peace and balanced mind.
