*** Simple Meditation and Creative Visualization to Connect with your Spirit Guide

Make yourself comfortable, preferably sitting on a chair with your feet firmly on the floor, making sure your arms and legs are uncrossed, and your spine straight.

Imagine a golden light all around you spreading out as far around you and as high above you as you can visualize it. This is a protective golden dome which will create a barrier and protective shield so that any unwanted or negative energies will not be able to enter inside it.

Relax now, breathing deeply once or twice, allowing your entire body to feel calm and tranquil.

Imagine or visualize a beautiful forest. It is filled with trees, plants and flowers in vivid colours and the sky above your head is an intense blue. The sun is shining down onto the whole scene, and you feel its warmth touching your body.

Walking through this forest you allow yourself to notice the powerful life force which exudes this peaceful place. Every tree, plant and flower is alive with the magnitude of Creation.

You begin to feel a sense of unconditional love sweeping through your whole being as you gaze at the incredible beauty, strength and power of the forest around you.

Walking on, feeling happy and relaxed you see before you a clearing and within the clearing is a waterfall cascading down into a huge crystal clear pool of water. You move closer and see that there is a seat on the edge of the pool opposite the waterfall. You sit for a while listening to the sound of the water as it falls over and down the rocks.

As you sit and take in this scene, you are aware now of a person who is sitting on the seat next to you. This person will be either male or female. Whatever comes into your mind will be how that being will relate to you. You may be able to see them very clearly, or perhaps you are just sensing them. Just be aware of their presence and allow them to connect with you. This being is one of your Spirit Guides who is looking after you from the Spiritual or Heavenly realms.

Sit now in the silence and permit this being to communicate to you. They may speak words which you can hear telepathically within your mind, or they may express a vision, a colour or some other object which you will see in your mind’s eye. Do not conce
yourself if this connection is not strong or clear at first, for as you continue to do this simple exercise it will become much more focused and strong.

Stay in this place for as long as you wish

When you are ready to return to your every day life, thank your Spirit Guide and very gradually start to bring yourself back into the now moment.

Breathing a little more deeply, begin to feel your physical body back on the chair where you started this short visualization. When you feel ready you may open your eyes.
