These simple tips to overcome anxiety can be used by every person who passes through a phase in his/her life where he/she starts to have fears and tenseness concerning some issues. These fears usually start because of a horrific memory or a terrible situation that has happened in the past with a certain person; whereby some people's anxiety of a specific condition starts from one's own mysterious mind. Some ofthese people may have a dilemma fighting these fears or even overcoming their anxieties. So the questions remain, are the keywords "Fear" and "Anxiety" identical? And how can a person overcome these fears and anxieties? Anxiety is mainly defined as a diffuse, unpleasant, vague sense of apprehension; It usually a response to an imprecise or an unknown threat that a person may go through. Anxiety is not the result of a known or specific threat it somehow comes from a person's mind's vision of the possible dangers that may result in the situation. Fear is an emotional response to a known or definite threat. A person might face another person or a defined object that might fright him/her unlike anxiety. Although either situations have different response, but fear and anxiety are cohesive. Fear causes anxiety, and anxiety can cause fear. Nevertheless these tips to overcome anxiety might help you beat your fears. First, you have to name your fears and the reasons for your anxiety. Start listing all of the activities you always wanted to do but are too fearful of doing. Identify exactly what makes you anxious and realize that your anxieties are a protective mechanism that is triggered because you feel defenseless and are trying to prevent yourself from getting hurt. rnSecond, you have to question your anxiety. Do some research and see if the reasons for your anxiety are actually valid. If you think you will look foolish while trying out a new activity, watch other people participating in the same activity. If you see that many people have accomplished what you want to achieve in, you can gain strength and inspiration from their achievements and realize that just maybe your anxiety can be overcome. Next, use exposure therapy to overcome your fear. Overcome your fears by having friends and family mocking you thoroughly. Turn the unknown into a known so you have a sense of control over the situation and minimize your anxiety. Finally you have to be kind to yourself, always be compassionate with yourself and tell yourself that there is always a next time. You will build up to your final goal as you change fears into certainty. Remember, no matter how tough it is and no forgetting all the struggles you might pass through, you can at all time use these tips to overcome anxiety and fear by being patient with yourself.
