What would $1,000 mean to you? Could it change your life? As a single mom, the decision to attend college may not be easy. You make a list of the pros and cons for going back to school. You really want to go. You know in the long run it will benefit you and your family, but you feel a financial burden. You're doing okay now with the money you have, but when you go back to school, you won't be able to work as much or you'll have to take out student loans.

Before you can even decide, you feel the stress and pressure of doing it. You would incur not only tuition, but costs, for books, labs, extra gas, childcare, etc. Even knowing the success it will eventually bring you, all you can think about is right now. How will it affect your life this month or next month?

Well, I have something that could easily sway your mind and allow you to jump at the chance to go back to school or give you that extra motivation to continue your classes. This will ease the stress and burden associated with being a single mom and going to school. Now is your chance to win $1000 scholarship for college. WOOOO HOOOO!!!

I'm so excited that Curiel and Runion, two "Dedicated Lawyers, fighting everyday to protect people just like you," are giving two $1,000 college scholarships to single moms. This could be YOU! Right now, you might be thinking the "I'm not good enough" Syndrome, as I call it. This comes in the form of Why me? I don't have as good of grades as others. I'm not as smart as others. I'm not pretty enough. I never have any luck. I don't deserve it. They won't choose me. I don't even have a major picked yet.

Or you may be coming up with these: I don't have the time to do this. I can't do it. I'm so busy right now. I don't have enough time as it is. I never catch a break. I never win anything.

NONE of those things are really true. It's just fear getting in your way. YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH just as you are! You are smart. You are pretty. It doesn't take "luck." You DO deserve it (and so much more). You don't need to decide a major to win a scholarship. You have the time, because you will MAKE the time. If someone wants to give you $1,000 (give means it's FREE), don't you think you should make the time?

Assume it takes you a week to make that working at your current job, and you work 40 hours a week. So as long as you aren't spending 40 hours a week on it, you come out ahead. And you won't be spending that much time to apply for this scholarship!

I KNOW you can do it. Want more information? Here are a few more details...Participants must meet the following criteria: Enrolled at an accredited high school, college, or university in the U.S. Must be a mother who is going back to school. Maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (or equivalent). Submission must be received by June 5, 2014. Please go to curielandrunion.com/scholarship for all the information about this scholarship.

Don't forget, I'm in your corner supporting you. So when (not if) you become a finalist, let me know, so I can make sure you get what you need to win. YYYYAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!

Thank you, Curiel and Runion for this amazing opportunity to help single moms in their quest for a better education. We appreciate you!
