There is an endless supply of Six Sigma training available for an organization that adopts the strategy. There are specially engineered training for the various Six Sigma belt certification courses and the organization support service men and women.

The basic fundamental of Six Sigma success is the tier system. White Belts are non-Sigma trained workers who assist with supporting projects, and they can refer to the Yellow Belts participating on the project team for more information. Yellow Belts are overseen by Green Belts, Six Sigma trained personnel who lead the projects and teams. Green Belts refer to their designated Black Belts, who in turn refer to Master Black Belts when they have a question.

Master Black Belt training is a must for high-level managers and supervisors, and potentially some executives. These individuals are required to train and coach lesser Black Belts and Green Belt staff. They function on the program level, developing key metrics and establishing strategic direction. Master Black Belt certified employees act as the Six Sigma backbone of the organization, providing internal consultant services for the company.

Black Belts also require extensive Six Sigma training, although not to the full degree of a Master Black Belt certified individual. A Black Belt certification enables an individual to direct problem-solving projects. Six Sigma Black Belt training provides a Black Belt with the required information and understanding to be able to train and coach Green Belt project teams.

While the cost of Master Black Belt certification and Black Belt certification may perhaps seem daunting at first, many businesses who implement this organization strategy quickly recover any cost. One certified Black Belt typically increases business profit by $500,000 per year. As most organizations employ several men and women that will need this training, the profits resulting from companywide Six Sigma implementation can be astronomical!

There are also training programs available for Green Belt certification, which is geared for high level, non-management personnel who will closely assist Black Belts with the execution of their duties. These training sessions are generally very short and concise, because these individuals do not require the level of involvement that Black Belts and Master Black Belts do.

All business executives play an integral role in the implementation and overall alignment of Six Sigma methodology. These executives are responsible for establishing the complete strategic focus of the Six Sigma program in their business and making sure that the Six Sigma processes are working within the context and scope of the organization's culture and vision.

Yet behind every call that connects and every message that reaches its destination, there is another system quietly working in the background. That system is the call center.
