Well, I would be lying if I told you that rains aren’t fun. Rainy season in India is for a long period. It brings rain, a drastic change of the weather and numerous problems in everyone’s life. But, it is one of the most anticipated seasons of the year. The weather is similar across the country, with difference in rainfall. There is a cloud covered skies that keeps the heat of the sun away. Monsoons are enjoyable, but, monsoons may be the cause of most of the skin related diseases. Due to lack of direct sunlight, Vitamin D does not match the usual level and results in skin problems. To avoid skin problems in monsoons we have some steps that shall help:

1. Exfoliation: It is very important to exfoliate your skin in the monsoon. Scrub your skin with natural ingredients like coffee, papaya, sugar, oatmeal and yogurt. This cleans the dirt from your pores and helps in retaining the pH level of the skin.

2. Cleansing: Cleansing helps in removing the dirt from the pores and allowing the skin to breathe easily. Cleansing the skin with coconut oil, tea tree oil, aloe vera, honey, lemon and rosewater helps in rejuvenation and revival of the skin. Cleansing also reduces the frequency of pimples.

3. Toning: Toning cleans the remaining dirt from the pores. Giving your skin a fresh and healthy look. Skin can then breath easily and freely. Rose water, lemon juice and cucumber water are some of the natural toning agents.

4. Moisturization: After exfoliation, cleansing and toning, moisturizing the skin is must. Moisturizers fill the open pores that prevents dirt and pollution from settling down. This also helps in keeping the skin soft and playful. Natural coconut oil, olive oil and cucumber are natural moisturizing agents.
