Today I want to talk to you about the miracles of God. There are 33 miracles recorded in the bible that took place during Jesus last three years of service while walking on the earth and prior to His crucifixion. Well known stories of powerful miracles that have been used over and over in the last 2000 years as a teaching tool to prove His existence but also as an encouraging tool to best described His power to change and heal those who believe in Him. Everyone that walked with Him testified of His miracle working power. And yet those thirty three miracles don't even begin to cover all that He has done for us. There is a song that simply says: He's done so much for me I can not tell it all" and that is not only the truth but an understatement. We remain the living testament and the pure evidence of the greatest miracle of God. That's right, Jesus is His miracle. A miracle of love, a miracle of life. Every single second of our life is a miracle from God!
I would like to ask you a few questions: When was the last time God gave you a miracle? When was the last time God answer your biggest prayer? When was the last time He took your breath away by answering a prayer that you prayed for a long time and almost forgot about? How many miracles have you seen in your life time? How many miracles have you seen happened around you, with your family, your friends, at work and even at church? Can you recall? Do you remember? I know that right now you are trying to think of an answer for at least one of these questions and that's good, but I want to take you a little deeper than that into this topic.
Sometimes it seems as though we find ourselves always asking Him for a miracle. Always asking for more: "Do something God" , "I need your help". "I need you now". "Lord I really need a miracle today".- We all have done that from time to time but today I wonder if I may ask you when was the last time you stopped and reflected on all the miracles that God has already done in your life and even more important than that, when was the last time you actually took a moment to thank Him for what He has done in your life and in the life of those around you. When was the last time you did a personal inventory of where you have been and where you are today thanks to Him?
God is not your debit card or your visa/master card that you just insert in and get a quick fix and He is not your "sugar daddy". He is not a Genie in a bottle that you call when you need a quick response to the mess you yourself created. He should not be the first one you call when you're in need but the last one you talk to when all is good and the trial is gone. It is an insult to Him how we worship all else from politicians, celebrities and even social networks but can not take an hour to worship The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, for He is a jealous God. How He is not our number one priority anymore, but we Cather more to the world than we do to Him. How everything steals our time away from Him.
He came to give us life and life in abundance but He also came to give us Himself, to love us and to have an up close and personal relationship with us. They say that there is always a giver and a taker in every relationship. Which one are you? I already know which one He is, for you see He already gave all He could give to us by sending His son Jesus and the fact of the matter is that He loves you so much that He would do it again in a split second, just to show you once more how much you mean to Him...
In a relationship between two people that love each other there should be a giving and a taking to make it a balanced relationship and not just a taking for He is a balanced God and all He has done according to His Word was perfectly planned and in perfect order. We should continuously look for ways to give back to him and I am not talking about money either. This is so much greater than that. When we are in love with someone we go out of our way to find ways to let them know how we feel, we impress them with gifts, find ways to spend "quality time" together, we learn more about one and other and make plans on how to commit to this person and we go as far to change whatever is necessary to make sure we don't loose them. We become protective of those we love. Or do we?
In the book of James 4:8 the Bible tells us to Draw near to God and He will draw near to you; but not just for us to come near Him to ask for things but to learn from Him and of Him, to Praise Him for His goodness and to worship Him for His Mercy. It is His desire that we will seek Him in Spirit and in truth just for who He is and not because of what He can do for us. And I am not saying that He will not bless you again and again for He is a loving, caring God, and I am not saying that even if you don't spend time with Him, He will no longer bless you for He is good and merciful, but what I am saying is: If you never get another blessing, if you never see another miracle would you still love Him?. Would you still want Him to be your God? Would you honor Him as your Heavenly Father?. Does He still take your breath away when you look at His continuous care for you, how He keeps you safe, How He heals your body and how He dries your tears and runs to comfort you every time you are hurting?. Has He done enough for you to cause you to be ete
ally grateful?.
I believe that His miracles are simply a signature of His love for us. There is a song entitled "With all My Heart" that I sing all the time from Babbie Mason that simply says: "You faithfully supplied my needs according to your plan so help Me Lord to seek your face, before I seek your hand." and that is my prayer for us today. That we would always keep ourselves in check and be mindful every morning before we bring "our wants and our needs" to Him, that we would bring ourselves as a living sacrifice to Him. Simply because I know that trials and tribulations will come to teach us how to persevere and to build our character, but a spirit of gratitude is necessary not only for us to overcome but to live a victorious life in Him who loves us.
I pray you will find this message to be uplifting and edifying as it is intended to be and the next time you find yourself needing another miracle, Just look up. There are plenty of miracles of God all around you, made specially just with you in mind. Don't miss any of them! Remember that Jesus is not only the greatest miracle of all but He is our redeemer, The Great I Am and our soon coming King. God Bless you!

If the world is an illusion meant to be transcended, why does it exist at all?
To answer your question, letâs study the following words of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, an Enlightened being, very carefully.
