Many companies have planned strategies for the use of popular social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to help promote their messages, offers and products, but what is their approach usually the goal? A survey by R2Integrated in 2010 entitled Social Media Marketing Survey was conducted to discover not only how organizations divide the effort and investment between the different social networks, but also what their goals were. The results of this survey are very interesting for anyone wondering what their competitors might be doing and considering embarking on his own first foray into the social marketing focuses on the media.
