One way to make your seminar into an unforgettable nexperience is to arrange social activities in thenhours -- and even days -- preceding and followingnyour event. Social activities allow participants nto relax and bond with each other, as well as giventhem another opportunity to get to know, like and ntrust you.

For example, you might host a cocktail reception thennight before your seminar kicks off, a dinner one nevening after the educational content wraps up for nthe day, or even an informal breakfast the morningnafter the seminar ends.

Activities can be as formal as you'd like. If you nwant to arrange a sit-down dinner for all of your nguests, great. But leading an excursion to a local nrestaurant for any interested participants cannbe just as much fun.

If you decide to play cruise director, be sure to nannounce your plans at least 30 days in advance. This ngives attendees a chance to arrange their travel nschedules so they can take advantage of the fun.
If you wait until the last minute to announce bonus nactivities, a portion of your audience will not be nable to rearrange their plans without great hassle nor expense ... and missing out on an opportunity to nspend more time with you can lead to ill will.
