Cardiac catheterization, also dubbed as coronary angiogram is a kind of medical test performed to check the flow of blood in the heart and coronary arteries. All though the time frame, your body location will be prevented in order to avoid any bleeding from the area where the catheter was placed. There is a possibility for a small bruise to develop at the area where the catheter was inserted. As a result of this, that area may feel sore or tender for almost a week. In case of bleeding or any symptoms of infection, never delay to let your doctor know about this. This procedure is carried out without giving anesthesia to the patients.
