If the audience is over absorbed with the unnatural features of the puppet, then they may miss the real message of the show. Proper entrances

The audience first sees the entry of the puppet on the stage. Here, the puppeteer will decide how the entry will be. Will he pop it up? Will the puppet jump on the stage? Or will it enter very simply? All these are not natural ways. To bring it properly on stage, the person should set a picture of three stairs and make them look as if they were walking.

Proper exits

The audience sees at last the exits of the performers on stage. The manner of exit may leave a lasting impression on the audience, if it is done very tacitly. A proper exit means that the person gives attention to the whole performance rather than the speaking part only. A sign of excellence is there if the quality is maintained for the entire performance. Correct synchronization of the lips

In this part the puppeteer should move the lips of the puppets in right time towards right directions to make the manner of talking real. Perhaps, you have experienced some silent acting without the movement of the lips at any point of time in your life. Think how much annoying was that. Even if the lips and words stop even for a little while, it is enough to turn the movie off. The same is true in case of puppet performance. The aim will be to open and close the mouth for pronouncing every syllable and avert the biting of words. Dropping the lower jaw

A good posture should be maintained by the puppets while leaning forwards, backwards or side to side.
