First things first, there is a lot of very delicate skin that is going to have to be shaved, so you want to be sure that you are going to use really high quality razors. Now that you've got your razors set, you want to move on to the next step, the preparation. If you've got a good amount of hair on your head to start, you are going to want to get that trimmed down to as close to the scalp as possible. Otherwise, those razor blades are going to wear out really quickly.

Next, start shaving! A good place to start is in the shower. Just like when you are shaving your beard, you know that having your face nice and wet with hot water for a few minutes makes the process a lot easier. So, a lot of guys will take a shower and then start shaving their heads at the end of the process. If you don't feel comfortable shaving in the shower just yet, that's ok, hop out of the shower and use the bathroom mirror, just don't waste a lot of time in between!

For the best results concentrate on small areas at a time. Use shaving cream sparsely and apply in sections that are just a few inches. Once one section is done, move onto the next and so on until you have gone over your whole head. Now, rinse off and just run your hands around your scalp just to make sure you didn't miss any areas.
