Culture, Heritage, and Cuisines Not only the culture, heritage, and cuisines of South India are different from other parts of the country but it also offers a great amount of indigenous divergence with the offerings of the states like Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Pondicherry varying greatly from each other. For instance; in Andhra Pradesh, people speak Telugu while in Karnataka they speak Kanarese. People of Tamilnadu and Kerala speak Tamil and Malayali languages respectively. Food, dress, culture, tradition, festivals, social life, and almost everything in these states are different from each others. Such great divergences of food, history, culture, heritage, and social life are some of the greatest points of interests for the visitors. Millions of visitors and pilgrims arrive in the four major states and Pondicherry to visit the temples like the Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh, Kanchipuram Temples in Tamilnadu, and hundreds of other temples along the length and breadth of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, and Andhra Pradesh. Once again, the architecture is different from other parts of India and also different from each other.
