Use various ways to entice the child: If you try to do a task in only one manner, it will surely get monotonous for the child and he will soon loose interest. Hence it’s important that you do the same task in varied manners and ways so that the child finds it exciting and interesting in newer form. It is important to keep the zeal of the child aroused every time to get the best effects of treatment. Help him achieve the target: When setting targets for your child, make sure that they are practical, realistic and achievable by a child. At the same time, make sure that you help him/her whenever in need so that he feels a part of it. Voice therapy demands a lot of speech practice which needs lots of patience and involvement from the parents to have the child cured quickly. Other than the above stated principles, it is the duty of parents to talk and discuss with speech language pathologist to learn about the varied ways of therapy activities. To improve the speech, there are many things that need to be considered rightly such as pronunciation, communication, fluency, grammar, language development and many more.
