Current affairs cover a vast area. Most of us underestimate their importance and often relate them to be of importance for a certain group of people. However, this is untrue. Current affairs are important for all of us and hold major significance in our lives. The impact it has on our lives may however, vary. News like technology or sports are often considered to be directed for a Certain group or an age group. What we fail to realize is that all areas are connected, and in the end it is about our growth and our country's prosperity. All these areas, irrespective of the field they belong to, weave in together to work for the growth of a country's economy. We as citizens of that country should take active participation in all the areas and stay in constant touch with the happenings in those areas.
Indian Current Affairs can range from an event that took place in a remote district to winning a world cup. Most of us do not bother ourselves with such news, but they have taken place in our country and work towards it growth or deterioration. We often say that sports news is for children and men. What possible use can women get from it, or sports news if merely for entertainment? However, sports is something that is promoted itself from a mere game to a national symbol. It brings in different countries together and India stakes its reputation on it. Moreover, the players and the teams make huge amount of money from sports which eventually affect the Indian Economy. Sports is one of the leading career options of today, opted by the youth of India. Due to commercialization, it has become more famous and contributes majorly to the growth of India. Another, such area which people think, is confined to a certain group of people is technology affairs. Technology, according to people is for intellectuals, geeks, nerds, techno freaks etc. They do not take interest in any news providing information on the science and technology section. However, we must realize whatever is available today to us is through technology. Once, we start reading and knowing about it, it will grab our interest. There is a treasure of information to be extracted from the field of technology and the more we know about it, the better it is for us.
Thus, we should make sure that fields like sports and technology are also of great importance to us. We should not ignore them, just because we think they are merely for entertainment or directed towards a certain group of people. Any kind of Indian Current Affair is important to us, and we as citizens of India should take active participation in the events/ occurrences that place in these areas.
