* Candidates between the age group of 18-25 can apply.

The process of application for the SSC examination:
* Candidates who are filling forms online and submitting them need to save the registration numbers which are provided. This number is required for every correspondence with the candidate in future.
* Those candidates who are filling and submitting the examination forms offline are have to mention the center where they wish to give the SSC combined Graduate Level Examination 2012.
* There is a fee of 100 Rupees which is to be paid in the form of CRFS or the Central Recruitment Fee Stamps.
* There is no fee for the women candidates along with the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes as well as the Ex Servicemen in this SSC Recruitment examination.
* The SSC is a three tier examination where there is an objective questionnaire for two hour duration; this is followed by a main examination which is also objective type and finally there is an interview.
