Starting his music career at the very early age of 6, LouCii is a prodigy

Louay Kouncar, also known as LouCii, began creating exceptional music when he was only six years old. From the very beginning, LouCii has been an extremely dedicated artist who is passionate about his music. In fact, in the world of music, LouCii is a prodigy in the real sense of the word.

Shortly after entering the music world, he started composing, writing, and producing original tracks. By the time he turned 16, his first original song was aired on FM Radio in the Middle East and became one of the top three most requested songs in Jordon. This made LouCii the youngest music producer in Jordon and the entire region. And there has been no looking back for this dynamic musician.

It was obvious that he was destined to make amazing melodies and nothing else. He had the talent, creativity, and skills to make it big in the music industry. It became evident that the prodigy would go to different levels and amaze and enthrall music enthusiasts.

A versatile music producer, LouCii had a command of his compositions from an early age and had the talent to create music that no one else could. It’s his passion for music that never distracted him from his work. He consistently made music even when COVID-19 hit the world in 2020 and literally took over everyone’s lives. Only a man of his caliber could announce three albums on the same day. To put it in simple words, he created history and kept on fighting in such uncertain times.

According to LouCii, he was lucky enough not to be financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic; however, things were not the same for everyone. He knew that a lot of his colleagues would have trouble producing music, so he tried to help those in need as much as he could. Not only did LouCii help his musician friends by mixing and mastering their songs, but he also allowed them to use his studio for free. Unlike other music creators, he is not in the music world only to make money. LouCii cares about people and their music; in fact, he would go out on a limb to help them and support good music.

Louay Kouncar’s dedication and hard work during the pandemic bore fruit, and in August 2021, he released a triptych of albums on the same day. What makes the three albums unique is the fact that they comprise 39 tracks in 3 languages.

The three albums named “Dark Like Kryptonite,” “Back2BassX” and “Global Vibes” contain an eclectic mix of wonderful tunes and electronic dance music. LouCii wanted to do things differently, so he experimented with various music genres in all three albums, giving each track a fresh and melodious feel. Talking about his albums, he shared, “I have always gone where no man has gone before; I think the release of my 3 albums with 39 tracks covering 14 music genres, and 3 languages, on the same day speaks louder than words, and clearly puts me in a category of my own.”

Producing under the alias DJ Louie, LouCii is one of the pioneers to have brought electronic dance music/Middle Eastern fusion to the world through the most extensive dance music compilation - Arab Dance Remix USA Vol I and Vol II - in the history of the Arab world.

This series went on to become a massive hit and sold more than 50 million albums bringing LouCii into the limelight. It won’t be wrong to say that the talented and dynamic musician is responsible for breaking down the music barriers and changing the music sound coming out from the Middle East.

As far as his music albums are concerned, it is evident that he has a deep understanding of music; hence each of them has something unique to offer to the listeners. “Dark Like Kryptonite” is full of energy and suitable for music festivals. On the other hand, “Back2BassX” is more of a multi-genre album. It has more bass and a club vibe - perfect for the dance floor. While “Global Vibes” has been created with dance in mind but with an exotic twist – all 12 songs belong to different genres – reggaeton, Latin pop, dancehall, and Arabic pop.

This shows that LouCii is indeed a musical prodigy with a heart of gold. He is compassionate about his art, and we can’t wait to see what else LouCii has in store for music aficionados in the future.
