Yoga has been practiced by the health conscious people for past 5000 years. As per now, millions of people are enjoying its health benefits by learning some or all of its physical poses, which are more precisely called the Asanas. It is also inclusive of some breathing techniques and meditation to heal body as well as soul. However, there are some risks involved while practicing yoga; therefore, these fitness tricks must be learned under the guidance of experienced and credentialed instructor.

Yoga courses and other fitness courses are offered at a number of training institutes and these classes are designed for different people with different fitness needs. Some of the classes are for relaxation while others are to provide you balance, strength and flexibility. Whatever your goal is behind learning yoga, you must be aware of dos and don'ts before actually starting with the practice.

Even though yoga is considered to be the best health practice and a safe non-aerobic form of exercise, risks involved with it can never be ignored. The most injury prone areas are shoulders, neck, spine, knees and legs. The problem occurs mainly due to overstretching and strain and it has been observed at various occasions mainly due to the wrong methods of practicing yoga.

The risk fact not only increases due to overstretching but the problem also become persists due to any particular health condition. High or low blood pressure, severe osteoporosis, pregnancy (in this case both child and mother may have to face consequences if not practiced correctly), ear problem or spine injuries.

If you are enrolling for yoga courses or other fitness courses either to be a fitness trainer or to learn fitness tricks, you must understand every minute details of the same to get maximum benefit and lessen the risk of injury.
First of all, if you are not satisfied with the way training is provided, never force yourself to learn the tricks. But if you are happy with everything then you should keep yourself updated with some important information which are otherwise neglected by the new learners.

Don't try learning yoga on your own or you may end up injuring yourself. It is always advisable to work under an experienced trainer to get maximum health benefits of yoga.

If you are told about your limits then stay within them only or accident can happen. Your instructor must tell the physical demands of the exercise and how strenuous it may be for you. Continue with the pose only if you are assured that it is suitable for you.

Clothing is next important thing which must be comfortable and allow you to move freely.
