rnThere are many steps involved in making the Canvas Awnings. The first step starts with cleaning, cleaning of the fabric. The steps involved in cleaning the fabric on which the stuff is going to be made are many, but the simplest among them is to clean the fabric with water as well as a mild detergent. The mild detergents can be dish soap or an ivory soap. They are normally washed with the help of a scrub brush with soft bristles.

rnThis is the best as well as the simplest way to clean the fabric. To remove the tough stains from the fabric a mixture of soap water mixed with bleach should be poured on the fabric and should be left for 10 to 15 minutes. Then the stained area should be brushed with the help of the scrub brush with soft bristles. Then one gallon of water should be used with one fourth cup of soap as well as one and a half cup of bleach. Now the material should be allowed to stand as well as dry out completely.

The area where the Canvas Awnings are hanging should be empty that is why all the walls there should be covered as well as all the items that are around should be removed from that area or the awnings itself is to be moves to an open space such as lounges or the garden areas or the terrace. If moved to some other place then a plastic sheet should be placed underneath the stuff for avoiding stains getting there.

Then in the last step two light coats of the petroleum paints or waterproofing liquid that too fluoropolymer-based is sprayed on it. All these paints are available easily in the market where decor home as well as home improvement accessories is sold. The first coat should be made horizontally and then after letting it stand for several hours the second coat is applied. This sort of cross application makes the coverage to be full. This is how Canvas Awnings are made.
