I realized the normal distribution indeed does apply to every single aspect of life, including weight loss! There will only be a small proportion of people who succeed in changing their bodies, losing weight and finally looking the way they really want to look. At least half of the population who try to lose weight will never succeed. This is despite the increased prevalence of fitness corners, gyms and healthy diets advocated by magazines. It may seem weird that many people still are not able to lose weight effectively; but that is because these people love giving themselves excuses and the fitness industries like to put out lies to the people as well!

The first biggest excuse people give themselves as to why they have not succeeded in their weight loss transformation is their genetics. So many people blame their poor genetics when they find that they are fat. Well, blaming your genetics is definitely a nice way to shirk off your responsibility that you are actually in full control of the way your body looks. Sometimes, friends who cannot seem to lose weight also blame their failures on their genetics; and this gives you even more tendency to also blame it on your genetics. However, truth be told, people remain fat and are not toned and slim is entirely due to them not having both an active and healthy lifestyle. You may have a greater tendency to become fat easier, and may find losing weight harder; but you are certainly far from being destined to being fat your entire life.

Secondly, women always complain about a weight related problem; that is cellulite. The media portrays cellulite as a different type of fat, and that by employing the usual weight loss techniques; you will still not be able to lose your cellulite. However, this is just companies in the fitness industry trying to scam you of your hard-ea
ed money by making you think you need a separate treatment to get rid of cellulite. In reality, cellulite is actually just lots of excess fats which are accumulated under slightly loose skin; giving it a wrinkly look. There is entirely no need to use a separate method to lose your cellulite. Work on losing weight generally, and your cellulite will soon disappear.

You have got to understand, that if you want your skin to look tight and taut; and look toned and young, then you definitely have to be willing to put in the hard work and live an active and healthy lifestyle. It is a sacrifice you have to make; but a very worthy one indeed.
