Compromise – Such a lovely sounding word that firmly shuts you off from the abundance, the wealth, the freedom you want…
We were all told that it is the thing to do to keep the relationships going, right?
We were all told that we will have to compromise if we want to get on in the world…
We were all told that we will be unhappy if we do not compromise…
And yet, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?
Really, truly happy?
Because I was not when I finally realised that I did not want to compromise on who I was and what i wanted out of my ONE BLESSED LIFE!
But I still go back there…
Trying to hide my light and make everyone around me feel better…
And then I catch myself again…
And I remember why I do not like the word compromise because it seems to mean that I cannot create life on my terms…
It seems to mea
I have to bury who I am in order to accommodate everyone else…
And it really does not make anyone all that happy.
No one actually gets what they want and somehow, we are all supposed to be happy with this…
And Applaud it as some kind of great thing!
How is that great?!
Really think about it…
Everyone going around compromising on what they want so NO ONE actually gets what they want.
They get some half measure and they are supposed to grin and bear it.
Yes, I know that my way of thinking to regular people is scary…
BUT ARE YOU SATISFIED YET?
IS IT REALLY WORKING FOR YOU?
Or are you just telling yourself that you have to be happy with what is, as though you had no part in creating the less-than-ideal version of your life!
Come on now!
Stop fighting who you are.
Accept yourself, your true self, not this passive, ‘go along to get along’ version of you…
When you know you are born to change lives, to impact many, to change the course of history or is that too big for little old you?
Would you rather believe the story where you get to compromise on EVERY FREAKING THING and tell yourself that that makes you a good human being?!!!!
I was jou
alling around this, this morning and I realised again that I had not been trusting me fully…
I was trying to be what I thought I had to be again…
Build my business the way I thought I had to build my business…
Compromising again on what I wanted to do because I thought that my way was just too crazy…
And today, Spirit pulled me up again to remind me…
“I made you powerful but when you fight your nature, you become weak!”
And that stopped me for a second, right there.
And I must admit, I m not known for compromising on what I believe and what I want to do…
Living with me is not easy so my darling hubby does have the patience of a saint because there are just some things that I refuse to compromise on…
PLAIN REFUSE TO!
And I expect him to do the same so don’t think I walk round in a bubble expecting everyone to fall in line…
I AM A DIVA, for sure but I have every expectation that everyone else has the same rights as me…
And despite all of this, I still saw where I was trying to compromise who I am…
And what i want to do…
Thinking that I had to be more acceptable in certain areas of business and life…
And today, I renewed my commitment to get the fuck over myself and just start to demand again that EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE fall in line with what I wanted to do…
NO MORE COMPROMISE!
I want what I want and as long as I am bloody willing to do what it takes to get what I want, then why the hell should I compromise?
Are you willing to do what it takes to get what you really want?
Or are you using compromise as an excuse not to show up boldly and powerfully?
Telling yourself that you need to make the people in your life happy and so you do not do the work you are here to do?
Telling yourself that you have to say ‘yes’ when you really want to say no but hey, you gotta compromise and then you find yourself without time, money and energy because you COMPROMISED and gave it all away to the wrong stuff?
Deep down, simply not believing enough in yourself or valuing your contribution to the world or LOVING YOURSELF enough to simply refuse to compromise on what you want and to choose to go after it with everything inside of you.
BE HONEST!
Take a look at yourself and see where you are compromising and where it is causing your soul to die a little every freaking day…
STOP COMPROMISING on what you want.
STOP IT!
Let go of the ‘shoulds’…
Tap into more of the ‘I want to’s
Say what needs to be said…
Do what needs to be done…
Some will like it…
Some will not.
But don’t back down!
Your life, your business works so much better when you are just being you and refusing to settle for things that you just DO NOT WANT!
STOP COMPROMISING on your life!
It is your ONE LIFE!
I know you have been conditioned to think it is the best and only way but come on now, how is it working for you, really?
When you consider all the dreams you have within your heart…
Are they happening?
Or are you telling yourself that they will one day when the kids are grown, when the partner is more prepared for you to do your thing, when the parents do not need you any more, when that friend is ok…
Compromise after compromise after compromise…
And your life is tick-tocking away…
And really, at the heart of all your compromising is fear and a lack of self-love…
A deep dark thought that if you do not compromise, you will end up alone and possibly be sent off to hell at the end of your life as well…
Will you really let these unexamined fears control your life?
I hope not, honey.
Because I see you…
And I know you are born for more…
I know that you are powerful…
That abundance is your birthright…
that you could live in complete freedom…
That you could b financially independent…
And you want it all.
STOP COMPROMISING and go after it all.
Trust that you can create a whole complete life of abundance, wealth, freedom for you and for every one you impact.
BECAUSE YOU CAN!
So fight for, deliberately design the life you are born to live…
BECAUSE YOU WANT TO!
