Strategy for Success - Anything is Possible!

It is easy to paint a picture of yourself living in your dream home, surrounded by loved ones, and feeling safe and secure, or relaxing on a yacht, sipping champagne and reading your favorite book.

The challenge is how to achieve your goals, and many people have given up, thinking that it is impossible when in fact it is, if you know the strategy for success.

When a person envisions his dreams, what typically happens is that his mind gets filled with random ideas and a blurry jumble of ways on how to reach them.

He gets overwhelmed by these thoughts that he dismisses them as wishful thinking and it all goes down to nothing. The key word of the strategy for success is this: DEADLINE.

THE DEADLINE AND THE STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS

When your mind is pressured to produce fruitful results within a limited amount of time, your body reacts by taking a set course of action to achieve it and beat the given timeline.

If you don’t have a deadline, you will be easily sidetracked and eventually lose focus. But because of the deadline, you need to do things, and you need to do them NOW. That’s the strategy for success.

So how do you create a deadline and devise your game plan?

The strategy for success is to think of a concrete goal, such as losing 10 pounds, or getting promoted from Shift Manager to Operations Manager.

Then you come up with a plan on how to achieve this goal. Look at your existing resources, your skills, and your current situation.

This means that you will need to sacrifice now, in order for you to achieve your goals sooner. As soon as you come up with your goal and your deadline, apply the strategy in your daily life.

STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS – A BLUEPRINT

This is the blueprint for success. Whatever your goal is, you can achieve it through these steps:

• Think of a Concrete Goalrno Write down your goal in pen and paper, or better yet start a journal to record your steps to success. Make it as specific as possible.
o One very simple example would be to find a job.

• Set a Deadlinerno Under your Concrete Goal, write down a date. This will be the day when you have already achieved this goal.
o If you want to find a job, imagine yourself doing all the necessary things to do so, which will likely take you three weeks time. So if it is the first of May, you can write 21st of May of the same year.

• Devise your Strategy for Success.
o Everything will be meaningless if you do not have an action plan. Write a step by step list of the things that you need to do to achieve you goal. Make them as specific as possible, with date, time, and agenda. ï§ This way, you will know exactly what to do each day, and not put it off the following day, since you have a deadline.

• Record your Experiencesrno This will let you know your status, letting your mind adapt to the conditions in case your strategy for success might need alteration.
o Keep yourself from getting sidetracked by constantly reminding yourself of your goals.
o Remember that each little thing you do right will matter, and it will take you closer to achieving your goal.

The bottom line is that you can do anything that you set your mind to, if you have the right attitude, perseverance, and a strategy for success!
