"It's not stress that kills us, it is our reaction to it." -Hans Selye-
We all have stress, that is a given, the real deal, is how we handle it and what we do with it. The key is to first learn what the first glimmers of stress "looks" like and what it feels like so that we can diminish it as soon as possible.
It is when we allow it to take up residence in our bodies and minds that it does its damage on us, so as soon as we sense we are falling into the stress spiral, go for a walk; listen to some favorite music and let it fill us with the vibes that we enjoy; play with our pets; call a friend that loves to laugh with you; go for a walk on the beach and/or just go watch the waves; not close to the beach, listen to ocean waves on a CD; meditate; do some yoga poses; count to twenty slowly while taking in deep breaths and letting them out slowly.
When we allow to stress to manifest in our bodies, it creates all kinds of dis-ease; from heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, and a host of others. So the sooner we dispel it and find the core of it the healthier and happier we will be.
Stress is a magical tool we can use to get to know our selves, to see what triggers our bouts with stress; and that in turn lets us know things/people/places we could release in our lives so that stress could be reduced, if the same things/people/places keep producing stress in our life, then it is time to remove them from and let them go.
Then find new ones to replace the old that creates joy, happiness and bliss; and be thankful that stress made you aware of those negative vibes and now you have a chance to build new joy in your life.
Use this new found tool to create the new thought that Stress is Magical.

Life Is Meant For Joy
With bills to pay, rent to cover, kids to corral, too much to do in too little time, especially with the Holidays upon us and all the extra stuff that needs tending, doing, paying for? Joy? Give it a rest. Well, I would, except joy is our basic nature. It’s what everything else we do is aiming for. Yes, money is nice, but why?
