Style – A sense of Individuality, Innate, Character, Shtick, Escape, Passion, or Obsession? Beloved readership, Fashion Enthusiasts, Connoisseurs from diverse walks of life, Fellow Ladies and Gentlemen.., as it may seem from the subject matter that I am personally bemused as to how to describe ‘style’ hence the analogous words, and multiple-choice, open-ended question; the truism is the subject in question is a golden attribute if nurtured efficiently. May I share with you an epiphany, albeit a coincidental one, about what catalyzed my previous entries – the good ‘ould sun with some creamy munchies to go which made me crave for more space to pen down my thoughts and verdicts? However, on this hazy evening, with merely a bowl of cereal for brunch, I embark on a topic that brings me so much insatiable pleasure – Needless to say I have found that my penchant for style/fashion always bring gratification regardless of the surrounding ambience I find myself. Ha, tell me about my stray when it comes to “standing out from the crowd”…, is it considered as being defiant …, or an enviable trait?! Style put simply in paraphrase is [the way of doing something] be it music, architecture, literature, cookery, etc. Subsequently leading to a fashion or an ‘-esque’ – imitated style. There has to be an intriguing spice or garnishing method for that delectable cuisine.., a twist to the conventional fashion …, a subtle perhaps noticeable flair to your music .., what is for sure is it can only be imitated but never duplicated. Be it passion, sideline, perhaps any of the abovementioned inclinations, don’t contemplate to sauce it up with personal twists – either way it’s going to attract attention and who knows it could be a trendsetter; after all Lady Gaga is renowned for her bizarresque fashion sense and #winning at it (not that I am a fan). No pun intended to say I am like a kid in a candy shop when I undergo an outburst of stylestorming (Oh do you notice my style-speak)?! Oops! Presently scouting for aficionados who share my desire of marrying the arts of writing and styling.., enlightening the men about town on what is trending and envisaged trends, and other fashion-centric concepts and themes.
