Supernews - Combining Satire with Animation and humor

Supernews is the super hit comedy show of 2005; it continued till the 2009, it was one of the best political satire shows of all times.

About the idea

The idea of this show was based on the works of Josh Faure, as he along with Steven got engaged in making different types of animations, which were satirical in nature. They were then joined by Dustin who was initially an animator, but went on to become the assistant director of this incredible show. The Supernews show was aired from 2005 till 2010, in which they had 2 seasons and 67 different episodes. The show initially started as a shuffle of 5 to 10 minutes but instant popularity of the show made it grow to whole 30 minutes of traditional programming.

Characters of Supernews

There were many different people who were targeted in the Supernews show; the characters which were popular in the shows were of Britney Spears, Perez Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, John McCain, Osama Bin Laden and Oprah. These are just some of the characters, which they featured in some of their episodes. There are many more characters, which got featured in more than 69 different episodes of this amazing and fabulous show. These characters where much liked by all be it kids or adults.

They also released amazing music videos, which were also an instant hit “Ringtone” is one of the best music videos, which was made by Josh and Yankovic. These music videos also featured cartoon characters and hence they were loved by all. “I am the Finder” is yet another song from the house which got immense popularity and hence there were many people addicted to these amazing songs from Supernews team.
